Abdullah Abdul Ghani launches its activities for National Day in Katara

Abdullah Abdul Ghani Foundation for Cross-Cultural Understanding "Hadara" established its events to mark the National Day of the State of Qatar in cooperation with the public institution for the cultural neighborhood Katara, with the participation of nearly 240 students from four schools over two days.

Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Director of the public institution for Cultural neighborhood Katara has expressed his admiration of the contents of the activities, and added in celebrating of the National Day: "Our keenness to cooperate with the various institutions and bodies to organize and establish, nurture and embrace these diverse activities through a distinctive celebration, a celebration of National Day of the State of Qatar, comes from the public institution for cultural neighborhood’s goals in the consolidation of patriotism in the hearts of generations and rooting affiliation to it , which the eighteenth of December will remain an occasion for the people of Qatar to renew their solidarity and loyalty, and our country transcends , and its banner rises , flying from the glorious past and the shining present , to the prosperous future. "

Creative and innovative activities
He added: "We chose to set up the activities of events characterized by a spirit of creative and innovative to attract our children and our students, and a national song in the name of the foundation and a number of cultural , traditional and national competitions which are consistent with the objectives of the activities of the Pledge of Allegiance were produced where children were involved put their marks on the plates decorated with the symbol and the slogan of the celebration of the National Day".

This celebration included songs and art activities which aimed at strengthening the noble values and patriotism in a manner appropriate for different age groups, in addition to providing a national song which expresses pride in the National Day, and the activity (Know your homeland) which contains cultural competitions between schools around the country geographically, and (The era of loyalty), in which students participated with their marks on plates decorated with a symbol and slogan of the celebration of the National Day, also the celebration included an activity (My homeland I raise with ) which contained a workshop where students connect flags to balloons filled with helium to launch . In addition to an event (fingertips deliver a speech of homeland’s love ) which is a large painting for open expression of the love of homeland , and an event ( Creative fingertips), which includes the coloring of the paintings for the National Day, and (My prince and me ) for immediate photographing.
